A recent ground-breaking project has made strides in lung cancer detection by developing advanced AI models for analysing chest X-rays. These sophisticated models are designed to detect lung nodules with high sensitivity and specificity, aiming to enhance diagnostic accuracy and reduce the likelihood of false positives and negatives. By leveraging cutting-edge deep learning techniques, the AI systems can identify potential malignancies that may be missed in manual reviews.
In addition to detecting nodules, the AI models provide detailed analyses of their size, shape, and density, offering radiologists valuable insights for more precise diagnosis and treatment planning. The project also seeks to improve decision-making regarding the need for further imaging, such as CT scans, thereby boosting overall diagnostic efficiency and accuracy.
What’s new in the world of AI?
Sarvam AI has launched a ground-breaking set of open-source foundational models in ten Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and others. This move addresses the complex linguistic landscape of India, where each language has unique grammatical and semantic features, challenging the development of universally effective AI models.
By making these models available as open-source, Sarvam AI aims to enhance linguistic representation and accessibility in AI applications. This initiative supports innovation and inclusivity, enabling developers and researchers to create AI solutions that cater to India's diverse linguistic needs and promoting digital equity across the country.
Reliance Jio-backed TWO is making waves with its latest AI products, including the SUTRA Avatar platform. This advanced solution offers real-time Pixel Real visuals and natural voice synthesis, leveraging proprietary machine learning technologies to deliver highly realistic virtual avatars.
