Privacy Policy

This policy explains how IndikaAI Private Limited ("Indika", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit indikaai.com, contact us, or apply to work with us. It also explains how our internal tools use data from Google accounts that we connect to them. Questions or requests: hello@indikaai.com.

1. What we collect

• What you send us. When you use our contact form we receive your name, work email, company and the details you choose to give, such as organisation size, data needs, the documents you request, or, for expert and partner applications, your field, experience and a LinkedIn or portfolio link. When you sign up for our newsletter we receive your email address.
• How you found us. If you arrive from an advertisement or a tracked link, we record the campaign details in that link (UTM source, medium and campaign) and the Google Ads click identifier (gclid), and keep them with your enquiry.
• How the site is used. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand which pages are visited and whether forms are sent. These services use cookies and similar technologies and collect data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring site.

2. Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, send what you asked for, and assess expert or partner applications.
• To send the newsletter you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To measure which pages and advertisements bring useful enquiries, and to improve the site and our marketing.
• To keep the site secure and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use the personal data from this site to train AI models.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, under their own privacy and security terms: Google (email, Google Workspace and Sheets where enquiries are stored, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads), our website hosting provider, and our code hosting provider. We may also disclose data where the law requires it. Some of these providers may process data outside India.

4. Google account data used by our tools

Indika uses internal software to manage its own marketing. With the permission of an Indika team member, this software connects to Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and Google Sheets accounts that Indika owns or manages. It reads campaign, website analytics and enquiry data, and creates or changes campaigns, tags and sheet rows in those accounts. It uses this data only to run and measure Indika's own marketing.

Access tokens are stored securely and used only for these purposes. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising profiles, or transfer it to anyone except as needed to provide these functions, to comply with law, or with your consent. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can remove this access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

5. Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. The site will still work without them.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and applications for as long as we need them to respond, to work with you, and to meet legal or accounting duties, and then delete them. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.

7. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to you, you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, have it erased, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@indikaai.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also raise a concern with the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children

This site is meant for businesses and professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. See also our Terms of Use.
